La plume dans une main et le micro dans l’autre, Pumpkin, femme végétale et lyriciste habile, gratte ses rimes. Les mains sur sa Maschine, Vin’S da Cuero, beatmaker audacieux et digger de boucles, produit. Ensemble, ils nous livraient en 2014 Le Beau Temps, vinyle 4 titres en prélude à l’album, sorti chez Mentalow Music.

Peinture Fraîche. C’est le titre de cet opus d’une douce brutalité conçu en duo comme un poétique drive by, dans lequel Pumpkin oscille entre rap et spoken word, scrute les anomalies de la vie posée sur les prods Electro Boom Bap de Vin’S, subtil mélange de samples et de composition.

20syl [C2C/Hocus Pocus], Mr J Medeiros [The Procussions], Dynasty, Boog Brown, Rita J, Signif, DJ Lyrik sont invités sur ce projet qui incite au voyage, à la réflexion, fait sourire mais écorche et bouscule, joue à l’équilibriste entre l’ombre et la lumière, la musique et le texte.

Une substance faite de sens et de sons qui jamais ne sèche, voici Peinture Fraîche. Ecoutez !
