Voyage dans le temps. Année 2006, époque Myspace. Supafuh lance le collectif VIntage BEats League aka ViBe League, projet artistique ambitieux composé d’artistes d’horizons diverses.
Top Ten, notre seul vrai morceau collégial, sera enregistré, mixé et masterisé pour une sortie vinyle qui ne verra finalement pas le jour. En tout cas, pas tout de suite.

10 ans plus tard, Mentalow Music sort Top Ten en 45 tours, à l’initiative de Vin’S da Cuero, que certains découvriront ici rappeur. Sur ce disque deux teams partagent le mic sur des fats beats Boom Bap de Supafuh :
Face A - Kefyr, Marshall Ombre, Pumpkin, Gas et Vin’S da Cuero.
Face B - Lucien Sezes, Mo’Faya, S’pry, Yeman (aka Nem), Shelem et Supafuh.

7 pouces d’une fraîcheur Hip Hop ressurgie du passé, pressés à 100 exemplaires accompagnés d’une planche de stickers et d’un beau petit carton de présentation.

Sauras-tu trouver le petit bug de mastering de l’époque en écoutant la galette ? Le son tape grave mais ayant perdu les pistes originales, Il a fallu presser tel quel avec ce micro-couac inclus dans la gravure. Authentique !

A journey trough time. Year 2006, Myspace era. Supafuh launches the VIntage BEats League collective aka ViBe League, an ambitious art project composed of artists from different horizons.
Top Ten, our only real group track, was recorded, mixed and mastered to be released on vinyl but never was. At least, not back then.

10 years later, Mentalow Music drops the 7-inch vinyl of Top Ten, on the initiative of beatmaker Vin’S da Cuero, whom some will discover here as a rapper. On this record, two teams share the mic on Supafuh fat Boom Bap Beats:
Side A - Kefyr, Marshall Ombre, Pumpkin, Gas & Vin’S da Cuero
Side B - Lucien Sezes, Mo’Faya, S’pry, Yeman (aka Nem), Shelem & Supafuh

7 inches of pure Hip Hop freshness returned from the past, pressed at 100 copies. Each of them comes together with a sheet of stickers and a nice little presentation card.

Will you be able to find the small original mastering bug when listening to the record? It sounds really good but as we have lost the original files, we had to press it as it was with the tiny hiccup included. Authentic!
